Frolick is a web application: nothing needs to be installed, everything runs in the browser. This document lists the minimum requirements under which the operator guarantees the Service works correctly. On devices and browsers that do not meet them the Service may work with limitations or not at all.
The user is responsible for the condition of their hardware, software and internet access.
2. Browsers
Current browser versions released within the last 12 months are supported:
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Yandex Browser, Opera and other Chromium-based browsers;
Mozilla Firefox;
Apple Safari (macOS 14 / iOS 17 and later).
Not supported: Internet Explorer, browsers with JavaScript disabled, "lite" or data-saver modes that alter page content, and the in-app browsers of messengers and social networks (open the link in your main browser).
3. Browser settings
JavaScript enabled.
Cookies and local storage allowed for frolick.ru and its subdomains — they are needed to sign in and save progress (see the Cookie Policy).
Pop-ups allowed for checkout through the payment provider.
Camera and microphone access — only for video lessons, when the browser asks.
Browser printing support for exporting materials to PDF.
4. Devices
Workspace (creating games, lessons and boards): a screen at least 1024 pixels wide, a keyboard and a mouse or trackpad; 4 GB of RAM or more.
Playing and taking lessons: a screen at least 360 pixels wide, touch or mouse input. Some games use WebGL and need hardware graphics acceleration.
Video lessons: camera, microphone, 4 GB of RAM or more.
Operating systems: Windows 10 and later, macOS 14 and later, current Linux distributions, Android 10 and later, iOS/iPadOS 17 and later, ChromeOS. Beta and modified operating-system builds are not supported.
5. Network
A stable internet connection of at least 2 Mbit/s; for video lessons at least 5 Mbit/s in both directions.
WebSocket and WebRTC connections allowed: multiplayer games, chat and video lessons rely on them. Corporate and school networks whose proxies block such connections may limit these features; contact your network administrator.
Access to frolick.ru, app.frolick.ru and their subdomains, and to the payment provider's domain during checkout.
6. Changes
Requirements may be updated as the Service and browsers evolve. The current version is always on this page; the operator announces the end of support for a browser or operating system at least 30 days in advance. Questions: support@frolick.ru.
